My THIRD BOOK
MY ZORK YouTube Playlist:

           Thanks to some new features in Google Chrome, I am embarked on a new project that I think is rather innovative. This project will be my third “book”. The book will be very similar to my first “book” SeeStories (links at the top of this page) however, it will differ from that book as it will not be a “website” and it will be FREE. It will be a series of links, totally under the control of the user and where they start. The depth of the “read” will totally depend on the reader’s interest in going down a path that is revealed by their choice of “views” and “clicks”. Even more interesting will be that the “reader” will be able to start the book anywhere they wish out of the dozens and dozens of entry points that will evolve over time (the writing and creation of the book).

           The motivation for this “book”, are the stories behind the questions I have been asked about the music videos I have made that are on YouTube and shared in an “unlisted” manner. Because they are added to a “YouTube playlist”, you can enjoy them either as just some background music or something to watch. When friends and family have “watched” them, I have been asked about the “story” behind some of them. What exactly do the videos remind me of? What memories do they re-kindle?

Each is a story. Typically, a “one-pager”.

The playlist that is the inspiration for this second book is: MY ZORK.

            Once you have selected a video, look in the Description for the link to each page of the eBook. The playlist is currently 96 videos in length, with 87 of them motivated by memories of mine. So, this second book will be somewhere between 87 and 96 pages in length, perhaps longer over time. The reason for the variable pages between the 87 and 96 is that some of the YouTube music videos that are on the playlist have copyright privileges maintained by the artists. My reason for having them on the playlist – the memory – cannot be added there – so separate pages are required.
